Basic locomotion patterns are used by animals to change place and form. This type of movement is important as much research shows, to preserve the health of the spinal chord and brain stem cells (neural mechanisms generating locomotion).
This workshop taught by ALIVE personal trainer Marco Moutinho, captures the primal body pattern movements: squatting, crawling, wide sumo-stance and animal locomotion.
Each skill/natural movement that you will learn, will help you find the correct balance, strength, endurance, flexibility, motor control and mobility that is needed to get or stay healthy and maximize performance.
